Her fiance, Brian, is out of contact and presumed \u201cmissing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLaundrie is a person of interest in the Gabby Petito investigation. On Sunday, authorities found a body in Wyoming that is believed to be Petito\u2019s,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/live-news\/gabby-petito-search-intensifies-for-brian-laundrie#post-9\">according to Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Laundrie was declared a person of interest earlier this weekend but, late Friday, authorities learned that Laundrie was no longer in the home he and Petito shared with his parents. His whereabouts are unknown and his parents have not given details of his whereabouts to law enforcement. He was last seen last Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI raided the family home early Monday morning and Laundrie\u2019s parents were put in an unmarked car reportedly belonging to federal authorities. It is not clear whether they have been detained, but the FBI has reportedly declared the home a \u201ccrime scene.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI announced a \u2018search warrant\u2019 twice before removing Chris and Roberta Laundrie from their home in North Port, Fla., and placing them in a van on their lawn,\u201d Fox said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/live-news\/gabby-petito-search-intensifies-for-brian-laundrie#post-9\">separate report Monday<\/a>. \u201cPolice cordoned off the area and cleared the street one minute before FBI arrived, telling people \u2018you\u2019re in a crime scene.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Petito and Laundrie had gone on a cross-country road trip which Petito was cataloging on social media. The pair were involved in a domestic altercation sometime in mid-August outside Moab, Utah, and Petito was last heard from around August 30. Her fiance, Laundrie, arrived home in Florida without Petito in early September, and after several reported attempts to contact Petito through Laundrie, Petito\u2019s parents filed a \u201cmissing persons\u201d report on the blogger September 11th.<\/p>\n<p>Laundrie was last seen on Tuesday of last week and \u201csearches for him continue,\u201d according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masslive.com\/news\/2021\/09\/fbi-raids-brian-laundries-family-home-after-body-believed-to-be-gabby-petito-found-search-for-boyfriend-continues.html\">Associated Press<\/a>. \u201cDozens of officers have taken part in [the] search for Laundrie at the 24,000-acre Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, Florida after he went missing,\u201d the AP noted, citing Newsweek.<\/p>\n<p>Human remains, which could be Petito\u2019s, were found Sunday in a search zone in Wyoming\u2019s Grand Teton National Park.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFull forensic identification has not been completed to confirm 100% that we found Gabby, but her family has been notified,\u201d FBI Supervisory Special Agent Charles Jones told media late Sunday, adding that there will be an autopsy performed on Tuesday. \u201cThis is an incredibly difficult time for [Petito\u2019s] family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a tweet Monday, the FBI acknowledged that it was searching the Laundrie home.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI noted that it is\u201dis executing a court-authorized search warrant today at the Laundrie residence in North Port, FL, relevant to the Gabrielle \u2018Gabby\u2019 Petito investigation,\u201d on social media.&nbsp;\u201cNo further details can be provided since this is an active and ongoing investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A lawyer for the Laundrie family said Monday that the family had \u201cno comment\u201d about the ongoing investigation or the search.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
