Then Biden\u2019s relationship with allies soured, prompting the French president to pull his ambassador from the U.S. \u2014 the first time in history that\u2019s ever happened. Then Biden\u2019s top general in U.S. Central Command changed the official story when he acknowledged that a drone strike had killed 10 civilians \u2014 including seven children \u2014 and not members of the ISIS-K terrorist group.<\/p>\n<p>And as if he needed more bad news, Biden on Friday found out the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had rejected his push to give COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to most Americans. The vote wasn\u2019t close: The committee of experts voted 16-2 against Biden\u2019s plan. The committee did, however, approve boosters for the elderly and high-risk people.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the MSM is even talking again about Biden\u2019s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfghanistan withdrawal wasn\u2019t going to be messy,\u201d Todd said. \u201cThis wasn\u2019t going to look like Saigon. The booster shots, he came out and essentially said eight months, and even indicated maybe we should start it as soon as five months. Now we\u2019re not sure if anybody under 65 is going to get a booster shot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden is scheduled to speak at the U.N. general assembly this week, and Todd said the speech will be huge. \u201cHe\u2019s got a lot of work to do,\u201d Todd said. \u201cThe U.N. speech, look, he\u2019s got credibility issues on the world stage to make sure people still view America as \u2014 not just a stable democracy \u2014 but a competent leader of the free world right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Others who appeared on Todd\u2019s show also questioned Biden. Todd asked Reuters White House correspondent Jeff Mason about the mood in the White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt got a lot worse on that Friday afternoon with all those things happening in one day. The mood is one of soldiering on. I mean, they\u2019re certainly embattled right now. But this White House has said from the beginning Joe Biden can chew gum and walk at the same time and all the people around him can do the same,\u201d Mason said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut certainly, some of these crises are not ones they expected. I don\u2019t think they expected to see one of the U.S.\u2019s oldest allies recalling its ambassador. So, they\u2019re soldiering on, they\u2019re trying to say we\u2019ve got this, we\u2019re going to roll through it.
