In an <a href=\"https:\/\/catsroundtable.com\/gop-leader-kevin-mccarthy-all-focus-on-midterm-elections-republicans-back-in-power\/\">interview<\/a> on Sunday, the California lawmaker blasted the Democrats\u2019 push for the $1 trillion bipartisan bill, as well as the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package.<\/p>\n<p>He warned Democrats are just adding onto the debt, saying the spending will only go on to create greater inflation. McCarthy also came down on Democrats\u2019 push to raise taxes, saying it will ultimately come down on the middle class.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s redistribution of wealth, it will take money out of the economy, make America less competitive, especially for our competition around the world.
