In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/hollywood\/2020\/10\/george-clooney-fights-for-red-states\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vanity Fair<\/a> last year, he described himself as having \u201calways been involved in Democratic politics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The image, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/brenda.peoples.75\/posts\/2933099816948643\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">has been circulating widely<\/a> in recent days, features Clooney supposedly wearing a t-shirt that reads: \u201cLosers in 1865, Losers in 1945, Losers in 2020.\u201d While Clooney has been politically vocal on many topics, including criticizing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/now\/george-clooney-says-trump-family-belongs-in-the-dustpan-of-history-following-capitol-attack-211608263.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">former President Donald Trump<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/vanityfair\/status\/1319434354855186436\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">those who fly Confederate flags<\/a>, the picture of him wearing the \u201cLosers\u201d tee is photoshopped. <strong><a title=\"A \u2018KEEP AMERICA TRUMPLESS\u2019 SHIRT?\" href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/09\/15\/fact-check-chris-evans-keep-america-trumpless-shirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show Chris Evans Wearing A \u2018Keep America Trumpless\u2019 Shirt?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/george-clooney-attends-the-first-taping-of-the-late-show-news-photo\/487289272?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">original, unaltered picture<\/a> can be found on Getty Images, where the actor can be seen sporting the logo of Casamigos Tequila, the tequila brand that, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/george-clooney-tequila-brand-casamigos-started-by-accident-2017-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business Insider<\/a>, he and the other co-founders sold in 2017. The message superimposed over the tequila brand\u2019s logo in the edited version of the photo resembles that which appears on t-shirts <a href=\"https:\/\/nemoshirt.com\/product\/bandera-rebelde-losers-in-1865-nazi-germany-losers-in-1945-trump-losers-in-2020-shirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">available online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A photographer captured the original picture for Getty Images on Sept. 8, 2015, when Clooney went to the first taping of \u201cThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/george-clooney-attends-the-first-taping-of-the-late-show-news-photo\/487289272?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">its caption<\/a>. Clooney and former Florida Gov.
