On Thursday, the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the offer was made regarding any questions she may have over the safety and effectiveness of the coronavirus vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Taking to Twitter the rapper said she had been invited to the White House, saying it was a step in the right direction. However, Psaki emphasized it was simply an offer to have a conversation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, our hope is anyone who has a big platform is going to project accurate information about the effectiveness of the vaccine, the safety of the vaccine and the availability of the vaccine,\u201d said Psaki. \u201cAt the same time, it both can be true, we also recognize that people have questions out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The White House has invited me &amp; I think it\u2019s a step in the right direction. Minaj revealed she had contracted COVID-19 and that her friend had experienced side effects after receiving the vaccine.
