She\u2019s critical of the government. She dares to speak out. We\u2019re here to make sure she continues to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joy was&nbsp;charged with criminal trespassing after she and other parents were accused by a board member of \u201crefusing to wear masks.\u201d Video, however, shows Joy did have her mask on, though it was sitting below her nose. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/woman-handcuffed-at-school-board-meeting-after-improperly-wearing-mask\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported at the time:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"30\">\n<p><em>Video shows that a school board member during the meeting asks for a recess because people are \u201crefusing to wear masks.\u201d Other mothers in the room protest, telling the board member, whom they identified as \u201cMary,\u201d that they had places to be and wanted to continue the meeting. [\u2026]<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When the recess is asked for, Joy has her mask on over her mouth and below her nose.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>After the motion for a recess was seconded, Joy told the school board, \u201cThis is not leadership. You asked us to be respectful of you, and you can\u2019t respect the taxpayers and citizens. This is silly.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Joy was apparently then asked to leave, due to the mask not covering her nose completely. She then lowered her mask and took to Facebook Live from her phone to notify others about what transpired at the meeting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Minutes later, three Monroe Country Sheriff\u2019s Deputies entered the room. They took the mother outside, detained and handcuffed her.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"7.593984962406\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Yup.
