(Spencer Platt\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>On Thursday, President Joe Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/covidplan\/#vaccinate\">introduced<\/a> a series of new measures that he said would curb the increasing number of coronavirus cases nationwide. The president notably ordered the Department of Labor to develop a rule mandating \u201call employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden also ordered millions of federal executive branch workers and contractors to receive a vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>Following the president\u2019s announcement, multiple state attorneys general and governors immediately <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/09\/republican-states-legal-options-joe-biden-vaccine-mandate\/\">threatened<\/a> legal action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden\u2019s historic overreach on vaccine mandates will not stand in Missouri,\u201d Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepublicanAGs\">tweeted<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re at a crossroads in America \u2014 who we are and what we\u2019re going to be. We must fight back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The vaccine mandate announcement has also been <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/14\/protesters-new-york-city-vaccine-mandate-department-education-vaccine-mandate\/\">met with protests<\/a>.
