The Consumer Brands Association sent a <a href=\"https:\/\/consumerbrandsassociation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Letter-to-President-Biden-on-Vaccination-Requirements-Questions.pdf\">letter to Joe Biden<\/a> on Monday, which outlined questions they have received from the companies in the consumer packaged goods industry.<\/p>\n<p>Those questions included whether an employee must be vaccinated to work, if the requirements would only apply to vaccines fully approved by the FDA as well as what the consequences were for lying about vaccination status. In a <a href=\"https:\/\/consumerbrandsassociation.org\/press-releases\/president-bidens-covid-19-action-plan-requires-clarity-for-businesses-in-hours-not-weeks\/\">released statement<\/a>, CEO of CBA Geoff Freeman said Biden\u2019s new mandate required \u201cimmediate clarification.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThroughout the COVID-19 pandemic, government has often failed to implement well-intentioned policy,\u201d he explained. \u201c\u2026As with other mandates, the devil is in the details. Without additional clarification for the business community, employee anxieties and questions will multiply.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/consumerbrands\/status\/1437415125695279119<\/p>\n<p>Occupational Safety and Health Administration was set to impose the rule of mandating businesses with 100 or more employees to require COVID-19 vaccines or weekly testing.
