The 25-year-old earned his first major title on Sunday after besting Djokovic in three sets. Medvedev won teach set six-to-four games and largely controlled the flow of the final.<\/p>\n<p>Djokovic was aiming to become only the third man to complete a grand slam sweep, which is to win all four major tournaments in the sport in the same calendar year.
