She\u2019s been taking heat for flip-flopping on vaccines from her run for vice president to now pushing for those mandates.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview on Sunday, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R) said Harris has no one to blame but herself for many Americans\u2019 hesitancy toward the vaccine.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Chris Christie: Kamala Harris started \u201cthe politicization of these vaccines&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/03vwZc8Vln\">pic.twitter.com\/03vwZc8Vln<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1437054517040791565?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 12, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Flashback to the Kamala Harris\u2019 campaign trail in September 2020 when she went on the record saying she would not get the vaccine if the FDA happened to approve it under the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would say that I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about efficacy and the reliability of whatever he\u2019s talking about,\u201d she stated. \u201cl will not take his word for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harris took it further during the vice presidential debate when, at the time, she claimed she would not even recommend most Americans to get the COVID-19 shot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the public health professionals, if Dr. (Anthony) Fauci, if the doctors tell us to take it, I\u2019ll be first in line to take it,\u201d she said. \u201cBut if Donald Trump tells us to take it, I\u2019m not taking it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harris has now gone so far as to advocate for forcing businesses with over 100 employees to require their workers to get the same vaccine she warned Americans about.
