Following Biden\u2019s statement on Thursday, GOP states have been discussing why they\u2019re opposed.<\/p>\n<p>Following Texas Gov. Greg Abbott\u2019s (R) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GregAbbott_TX\/status\/1436104824660049921\">announcement<\/a> to fight Biden\u2019s order, GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel (Texas) declared the Republican National Committee would be suing the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>In their release, McDaniel stated Joe Biden lied when he promised he wouldn\u2019t impose vaccine mandates once he was elected. Additionally, the RNC said for small businesses and workers who don\u2019t have the money to stand up for themselves, they would take matters into their own hands by suing the administration to protect Americans\u2019 rights.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joe Biden told Americans when he was elected that he would not impose vaccine mandates. He lied. <\/p>\n<p>When his decree goes into effect, the RNC will sue the administration to protect Americans and their liberties. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/XinwFw4bam\">pic.twitter.com\/XinwFw4bam<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ronna McDaniel (@GOPChairwoman) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOPChairwoman\/status\/1436118614504050692?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 10, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Prior to the announcement, GOP governors began expressing they would also be taking action. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson said the federal government\u2019s actions are not welcome in his state, as working families could see serious consequences.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Wyoming Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovernorGordon\/status\/1436092158960824334\">Mark Gordon<\/a> warned his attorney general to prepare to take action in opposing the administration\u2019s \u201cunconstitutional overreach of executive power.\u201d Further, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster stated the American dream is no more and that the Biden presidency has made it a nightmare. He added \u201cwe will fight them to the gates of Hell\u201d in order to protect the liberties of South Carolinians.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The American Dream has turned into a nightmare under President Biden and the radical Democrats.
