Recently published Census Bureau <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/covid-vaccines-low-income-poor-workers-58698275-0451-4158-a967-37189dbf673c.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">data<\/a> show that nearly one in four Americans who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine are in the lowest income bracket.<\/p>\n<p>While most Democrats, who <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/satire\/liberal-animosity\/\">would like to believe<\/a> that the only people who haven&#8217;t been vaccinated are Trump-supporting rednecks, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/paulkrugman\/status\/1436322553996394500\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">praised<\/a> Biden&#8217;s mandate as &#8220;terrific public policy,&#8221; left-wing pundits who actually care about the lives of poor people were more critical.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The unvaccinated in America are overwhelmingly low-income people, which means any punitive measures against those refusing vaccinations\u2014loss of jobs, bar on entrance to public spaces or travel\u2014will disproportionately fall on those who are most economically vulnerable,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/mobile.twitter.com\/ggreenwald\/status\/1436088178222510083\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>&nbsp;left-wing journalist Glenn Greenwald.<\/p>\n<p>Others questioned why Biden did not propose a federal policy that would encourage people to get vaccinated with some kind of financial incentive, rather than punish them for remaining unvaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>As the <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> has demonstrated, Biden&#8217;s tenacious drive to inflict pain on his political enemies is what&nbsp;his supporters love most about him.
