The legal experts have begun pumping the brakes on their attempts to insert itself into state law.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, the Justice Department sued Texas over the bill which bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, claiming it was enacted in direct defiance of the Constitution and illegally interferes with federal interests. However, lawyers have turned that argument on its head.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe knew the Biden administration was planning to do something, but it\u2019s an audacious lawsuit and that\u2019s because it is ignoring the fact that the judiciary has not asked or answered this question about constitutionality of the law yet, and instead is arguing that the U.S. government has the right to insert itself to invalidate a properly passed and signed state law that it believes to be unconstitutional,\u201d said Rebecca Parma, senior legislative associate for Texas Right to Life.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joe Biden has a long record of failures with protecting the unborn and pregnant women. <\/p>\n<p>He is a puppet of the radical abortion agenda, and his DOJ will quickly find that they do not have jurisdiction to stop the Texas Heartbeat Act.<\/p>\n<p>Text PROLIFE to 40237<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ProLife?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ProLife<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Abortion?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Abortion<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Texas Right to Life (Text ProLife to 40237) (@TXRightToLife) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TXRightToLife\/status\/1436063652658941960?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 9, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Critics said they aren\u2019t surprised by the move, however don\u2019t think the lawsuit will be fruitful for the administration or abortion advocates.
