He lied. When his decree goes into effect, the RNC will sue the administration to protect Americans and their liberties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McDaniel also shared a press release announcing the RNC\u2019s intent to sue the administration for what they called an \u201cunconstitutional mandate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoe Biden told Americans when he was elected that he would not impose vaccine mandates. He lied. Now small businesses, workers, and families across the country will pay the price. Like many Americans, I am pro-vaccine and anti-mandate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany small businesses and workers do not have the money or legal resources to fight Biden\u2019s unconstitutional actions and authoritarian decrees, but when his decree goes into effect, the RNC will sue the administration to protect Americans and their liberties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Biden signed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/new-biden-executive-order-to-mandate-covid-19-vaccines-for-federal-workers_3989878.html\">new executive order<\/a>\u00a0mandating that federal workers get a COVID-19 vaccine and removing the option for workers and contractors to choose not to get vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Federal workers will have approximately 75 days to become fully vaccinated, however, there will be \u201climited\u00a0exceptions for legally recognized reasons such as disability or religious objections,\u201d White House press secretary Jen Psaki told\u00a0reporters in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Those who fail to comply with the new order could face\u00a0progressive disciplinary action, however, agencies are going to work with employees to ensure they\u00a0understand the benefits of vaccination, and how the vaccines are free, easy, and widely accessible,\u201d\u00a0Psaki said.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Thursday, Biden said he will direct the Department of Labor to develop a rule that companies with more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/biden-plans-covid-19-vaccine-mandate-for-80-million-private-sector-workers_3990110.html\">100 employees will require vaccinations<\/a> or once-per-week testing for their workers, potentially affecting tens of millions of U.S. private-sector employees and health care workers.<\/p>\n<p>The administration\u2019s rule will require that \u201call employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work,\u201dwhich will affect more than 80 million workers in the private sector.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3987395\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/img.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/uploads\/2021\/09\/08\/Vaccine_Restaurant_20210907-14-1200x800.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3987395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Vaccine_Restaurant_20210907-14-600x400-1.jpg\" alt=\"Epoch Times Photo\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/noscript><\/figcaption>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vaccine proof requirement note displays at a restaurant store front in New York on September 7, 2021. (Chung I Ho\/The Epoch Times)<\/figure>\n<p>During remarks on Sept. 9, Biden didn\u2019t hold back from pointing the finger at the 80 million people who\u00a0haven\u2019t yet been vaccinated, saying, \u201cWe\u2019ve been patient. \u201cBut our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The president went on to claim that unvaccinated people are \u201ccrowding our hospitals\u201d and\u00a0said vaccines provide protection against COVID-19 hospitalizations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re in a tough stretch,\u201d he added. \u201cThis is not about freedom or personal choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden previously mandated COVID-19 vaccination, but allowed workers who did not want it to remain unvaccinated, so long as they abided by strict protocols such as social distancing, wearing masks and getting regularly tested for the virus.<\/p>\n<p>The new orders are part of Biden\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/covidplan\/\">six-pronged, comprehensive national strategy<\/a>\u00a0that employs the same science-based approach that was used to successfully combat previous variants of COVID-19 earlier this year,\u201d according to The White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis plan will ensure that we are using every available tool to combat COVID-19 and save even more lives in the months ahead, while also keeping schools open and safe, and protecting our economy from lockdowns and damage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The latest mandates are likely to face opposition from millions of Americans, with a recent Gallup poll finding that about 52 percent of people favored employer vaccine mandates but 38 percent opposed, with 29 percent saying they were strongly opposed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"one_author_block round\">\n<div class=\"top_row\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/assets\/themes\/eet\/images\/default-user.png\" alt=\"Katabella Roberts\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"names\">\n<p>Katabella Roberts<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Republican National Committee (RNC) on Sept. 10 announced it plans to sue President Joe Biden\u2019s administration over its\u00a0COVID-19 vaccine and testing mandate.
