Kevin Stitt held a ceremonial signing of nine pro-life bills Thursday, telling the Daily Caller News Foundation that he intends to make Oklahoma \u201cthe most pro-life state in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Tenth Amendment clearly states what is not designated to the federal government belongs to the state in terms of rights,\u201d Stitt told the DCNF. \u201cOklahomans believe in life and protecting the life of the unborn, so it\u2019s very important to challenge federal overreach, especially on this issue.\u201d <strong><a Over Conservative Views)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to be the most pro-life state in the country,\u201d he continued. \u201cIf other states want to do things differently, that\u2019s what Wade is overturned, ban fetal trafficking, protect relinquished babies and require birthing centers and other medical facilities to have policies honoring the remains of babies born through miscarriages or born stillborn.<\/p>\n<p>The governor told the DCNF that the bills will \u201cabsolutely\u201d be challenged by abortion advocates. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/03\/27\/oklahoma-coronavirus-abortion\/\">(RELATED: Oklahoma Governor Bans Abortions To Preserve PPE During Coronavirus Crisis)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnytime something goes against the left\u2019s liberal agenda there will be activist groups from the east and west coast who will try to come into Oklahoma and challenge our laws and our way of life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most important thing is to protect life,\u201d Stitt added. \u201cThese women are struggling and they have a tough situation and we want them to know there are other options.
