Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Texas Heartbeat Act is a response to fifty years of Supreme Court interference in states\u2019 legitimate interest in protecting life and their right to debate and pass laws reflecting their people\u2019s values,\u201d she continued. \u201cBiden, Pelosi and their radical allies want to permanently stifle that debate and impose abortion on demand up until the moment of birth, paid for by taxpayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The move could spark even more outrage and controversy over Texas\u2019 new law, particularly ahead of Dobbs v. (Photo by Alex Wong\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Last week, the Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/20pdf\/21a24_8759.pdf#page=7\">ruled 5-4<\/a> to deny abortion providers\u2019 requests to block Texas\u2019 Heartbeat Act. The president&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/02\/joe-biden-supreme-court-abortion-ruling-rule-of-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">weighed in<\/a> on the ruling Sept. 2, calling it an \u201cunprecedented assault on a woman\u2019s constitutional rights under <em>Roe v. Wade.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy allowing a law to go into effect that empowers private citizens in Texas to sue health care providers, family members supporting a woman exercising her right to choose after six weeks, or even a friend who drives her to a hospital or clinic, it unleashes unconstitutional chaos and empowers self-anointed enforcers to have devastating impacts,\u201d Biden said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cComplete strangers will now be empowered to inject themselves in the most private and personal health decisions faced by women. This law is so extreme it does not even allow for exceptions in the case of rape or incest. And it not only empowers complete strangers to inject themselves into the most private of decisions made by a woman \u2014 it actually incentivizes them to do so with the prospect of $10,000 if they win their case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/23\/attorney-lawsuit-texas-abortion-law\/\">law<\/a>&nbsp;has particularly angered abortion advocates as it allows \u201cany person\u201d to sue doctors, abortion clinics, or anyone who \u201cknowingly engages in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those who sue over an abortion may be awarded $10,000 \u201cfor each abortion\u201d the defendant performed, induced, aided, or abetted in violation of the law.<\/p>\n<p>The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
