During a meeting in Qatar on Tuesday, members of the Afghan all-female robotics team asked Blinken what the Biden administration planned to do to address human rights violations by the Taliban.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would love to ask you to see what\u2019s your plan?\u201d One woman questioned. \u201cWhat\u2019s the U.S. government\u2019s plan for the future of the millions of the kids and children and women in Afghanistan?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response, Blinken offered vague words of support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe story you\u2019ve already told by what you\u2019re doing about the importance of girls and women engaging in in science and technology, education more broadly, that sent a very powerful message all around the world, well beyond Afghanistan,\u201d he stated. \u201cI know you\u2019re going to find ways to continue to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">During a visit to a housing complex where Qatar hosted hundreds of evacuees, I expressed gratitude to Asst FM <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Lolwah_Alkhater?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Lolwah_Alkhater<\/a> for her leadership. I was honored to meet several remarkable women &amp; girls of the Afghan Robotics Team.
