Stoltenberg explained on Monday, China\u2019s nuclear program has been left unchecked by the United Nations for decades and added this must change.<\/p>\n<p>This comes years after President Trump said he would not renew any nuclear agreements with Russia unless they included China. Stoltenberg went on to highlight the recent advances in Beijing\u2019s nuclear program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChina is building a large number of missile silos, which can significantly increase its nuclear capability,\u201d he explained. \u201cAll of this is happening without any limitation or constraint and with a complete lack of transparency.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NATO?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#NATO<\/a> chief <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jensstoltenberg?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@jensstoltenberg<\/a> set out 3 goals for arms control, disarmament &amp; non-proliferation:<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd35 Preserve the NPT<br \/>\ud83d\udd35 Strengthen &amp; modernise arms control, covering more systems + more countries (&#8220;in particular China&#8221;)<br \/>\ud83d\udd35 Continue responding together when treaties are violated <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Wmkf53ubDm\">https:\/\/t.co\/Wmkf53ubDm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Dylan P.
