In a recent op-ed, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone defended Texas\u2019s ban on abortions after six weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Cordileone characterized abortion as the \u201cpreeminent human rights issues of our time\u201d and said more than 60 million lives have been lost to abortion since the Roe vs. Wade decision.
