During an interview this weekend, the 45th president said Texas\u2019s law to restrict abortion could change and evolve going forward, but would continue to protect the lives of unborn babies.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Texas banned most abortions after a fetal heartbeat was detected at about six weeks and the Supreme Court did not act on a request to block that law. Trump praised the decision by the Supreme Court and added the justices have been doing a better job now than before he took office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do have a Supreme Court that\u2019s a lot different than it was. Before, it was acting very strangely and I think probably not in the interests of our country,\u201d he stated. \u201cWe\u2019re studying the ruling and we\u2019re studying also what they\u2019ve done in Texas, but we have great confidence in the governor, the attorney general and the lieutenant governor.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Supreme Court voted 5-4 to uphold Texas\u2019 RIGHT to defend innocent life in the womb.
