According to Friday\u2019s report, only about 230,000 jobs were created in August, while predictions said three times as many should have been created.<\/p>\n<p>This would mean unemployment dropped only two tenths of a percent as it now sits at 5.2. Biden blamed the worst of the results on the Delta variant as well as people who have refused the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Over 10 million current job openings.<\/p>\n<p>728,000 new jobs were projected for August.<\/p>\n<p>Just 235,000 jobs were added.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t blame the Delta variant \u2014 blame Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lance Gooden (@Lancegooden) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Lancegooden\/status\/1433908562661724160?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 3, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Even with these problems, Biden said he believed the so-called Biden plan was working to bring the economy back&nbsp;from lockdown ruin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite the impact of the Delta variant, and I\u2019ll talk a little more about that in a minute, what we\u2019re seeing is an economic recovery that\u2019s durable and strong,\u201d he claimed. \u201cThe Biden plan is working. We\u2019re getting results. America is on the move again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To fix ongoing issues with the recovery, Biden said taxes on the wealthy needed to be raised and noted the amount of billionaires that have grown during the COVID-19 crisis.
