The report said there were several reported cases of older men claiming young girls were their \u201cwives\u201d during processing.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>U.S. officials at these centers were requesting \u201curgent guidance\u201d from the State Department as internal documents viewed by the Associated Press reveal. Other exclusive information obtained by the AP alleges that young women have described being raped or being forced to marry older men as a path out of Afghanistan during the U.S.\u2019s chaotic exit. The withdrawal officially concluded on Monday.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201c<\/span><span>While child marriage is not uncommon in Afghanistan, the U.S. has strict policies against human trafficking that include prosecutions for offenders and sanctions for countries that don\u2019t crack down on it,\u201d the AP\u2019s report continued.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The State Department was unable to comment on specifics when asked by the AP, but they did say that they take allegations of sex trafficking seriously. They added that the rushed nature of the withdrawal made many specific allegations of wrongdoing difficult to verify and track down.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>An August 27 report from Wisconsin\u2019s 60,000-acre Fort McCoy was sent out to American embassies, consulates, and other military bases entitled \u201cAfghanistan Task Force SitRep No. 63.\u201d According to the report, there were concerns of polygamy and of younger girls being married to much older men.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIntake staff at Fort McCoy reported multiple cases of minor females who presented as \u2018married\u2019 to adult Afghan men, as well as polygamous families,\u201d the document says. \u201cDepartment of State has requested urgent guidance.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As the Daily Wire has previously reported, efforts to evacuate Afghanistan were very rushed and it is believed hundreds of Americans and thousands of American-allied Afghans did not make it out of the country, which is now under the control of the Taliban. <\/span><span>Furthermore, there have been other instances of individuals with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/seven-afghans-refugees-detained-in-germany-three-had-forged-docs-four-previously-deported-criminals-report-says\">criminal connections<\/a> being evacuated out of the country and found in Germany.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
