Metropolitan Police have been on the hunt for three to four suspects who kidnapped at least five people at gunpoint over the past week.<\/p>\n<p>Commander John Haines of D.C Metropolitan Police stated, \u201cit\u2019s very unusual to have anyone kidnapped and this is exactly what they\u2019re doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The victims were forced into a vehicle and taken to an area ATM, where they were ordered to withdraw money before being let go. The first incident took place on August 24, when police said one suspect flashed a gun at the victim while the others forced him into a vehicle.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">MPD seeks assistance in identifying suspects and a vehicle in reference to Kidnapping while Armed (Gun) offenses that occurred in the District. <\/p>\n<p>Have info? The violent crime spree didn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn at least two of the cases we know that they used what is described as zip ties to tie the individuals hand togethers as they are putting them in the car,\u201d Commander Haines explained. \u201cThey are blind folding them at different manners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Authorities believe the suspects were using a stolen vehicle, which has since been recovered.
