He\u2019d already sold 13,000 tickets to his live comedy show at Madison Square Garden but has gone on the record opposing vaccine requirements. \u201cI don\u2019t know what to do. I\u2019m stuck in this situation,\u201d Rogan <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/6yc6AIMf3JqLWygLQJ4Wrg\">lamented<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 54-year-old comedian solved the problem by offering refunds to anyone who doesn\u2019t want to get the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf someone has an ideological or physiological reason for not getting vaccinated, I don\u2019t want to force them to get vaccinated to see a f***ing stupid comedy show,\u201d Rogan said. \u201cAnd now they say that everybody has to be vaccinated, and I want everybody to know that you can get your money back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rogan has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-rogan-clarifies-comments-i-am-not-an-anti-vax-person\">clear<\/a> that he is not opposed to coronavirus vaccines, but he has pointed out the inconsistency in the CDC\u2019s messaging and argued that they may not be necessary for the least vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not an anti-vax person,\u201d Rogan said in April. \u201cIn fact, I said I believe they are safe and I encourage many people to take them. I just said if you\u2019re a young, healthy person, you don\u2019t need it. Their argument was you need it for other people. But that\u2019s a different conversation. And yes, that makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He went on, \u201cBut if you\u2019re like 21 years old, and you say to me, \u2018Should I get vaccinated?\u2019 I\u2019ll go, \u2018No.\u2019 Are you healthy? Are you a healthy person? Like, look, don\u2019t do anything stupid, but you should take care of yourself,\u201d Rogen said. \u201cYou should \u2014 if you\u2019re a healthy person, and you\u2019re exercising all the time, and you\u2019re young, and you\u2019re eating well, like, I don\u2019t think you need to worry about this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The UFC host has been equally upfront that he doesn\u2019t believe the government should have the power to mandate vaccines, saying of those who welcome such mandates:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"32\">\n<p><em>\u201cThey don\u2019t understand history, they don\u2019t understand human beings. They don\u2019t understand human nature. They don\u2019t understand the history of every single country that\u2019s ever existed other than the United States, up until 1776, every f***ing country that has ever existed was run by dictators. All of them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This is the first one where you had elected officials. This is the first experiment in self government that actually worked. And it created the greatest superpower the world\u2019s ever known, it created the greatest cultural machine, the greatest machine of art and creativity and innovation, right f***ing here. And how did it do that? It did it through freedom. Because when you give people freedom, you let people do whatever the f*** they want to do, they actually find ways to succeed and grow and thrive.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But as soon as you put the boots to them, as soon as you tell them, you have to do this, or you can\u2019t do that, you have to listen to me.
