In a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.youtube\/inside-youtube\/tackling-misinfo\/\">blog post<\/a> on Wednesday, the site\u2019s Chief Product Officer Neal Mohan said the company took down millions of videos it deemed as \u201cmisinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mohan added the majority of content being removed was determined to be \u201cdangerous coronavirus information.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpeedy removals will always be important, but we know they\u2019re not nearly enough,\u201d he stated. \u201cInstead, it\u2019s how we also treat all the content we\u2019re leaving up on YouTube that gives us the best path forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, critics argue YouTube has been manipulating what shows up in viewers search results.
