During a press briefing on Monday, she claimed Americans were not \u201cstranded\u201d while asserting that it was \u201cirresponsible\u201d to suggest such.<\/p>\n<p>Many criticized her statement while suggesting what actually was irresponsible was the U.S. troop withdrawal, which has left thousands stuck under the Taliban\u2019s control.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Biden Press Sec Jen Psaki saying Americans are not stranded in Afghanistan is ignorant. <\/p>\n<p>Americans are stranded there as we speak because Biden failed to get them out.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ecEPvjrMdS\">pic.twitter.com\/ecEPvjrMdS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 GOP (@GOP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOP\/status\/1429923655962841096?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 23, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Psaki went on to say the White House is working around-the-clock to bring the remaining Americans home.
