And even more devastating, was that several developing countries followed Dr. Fauci&#8217;s lead and also locked down their struggling economies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In June 2020,<\/strong> Dr. Tony Fauci <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/healthcare\/503468-fauci-defends-coronavirus-lockdowns-as-saving-millions-of-lives\">defended his economic lockdowns<\/a> saying, &#8220;When you give advice about what should you be doing \u2014 People get confused. And they say, &#8216;Wow, you know, we shut down and we caused a great disruption in society.
