Greg Abbott (R) announced he has tested negative for COVID-19 after testing positive for the virus last week. In a tweet on Saturday, Abbott said his infection was brief and mild because of the vaccination he received.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI encourage others who have not yet received the vaccination to consider getting one,\u201d he stated. \u201cMy wife also continues to test negative.
