Listen to the full podcast <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/show\/morning-wire\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>1)<b>Biden\u2019s Approval Rating Falling<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><b>The Topline: <\/b><span>In recent days, a growing number of polls have shown a notable dip in President Joe Biden\u2019s approval ratings amid the collapse of Afghanistan.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Exclusive Daily Wire Poll:<\/b> <span>A national poll of over 1,000 Americans commissioned by The Daily Wire through SurveyMonkey found that a growing number of voters blame the president for his role in the crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Biden Approval Rating<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>The poll revealed that 47% of Americans approve of the job Joe Biden is doing as president, while 45% disapprove. In July, his approval rating was at 52%, which means his rating has dropped significantly in a matter of weeks.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_278783\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"32\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-278783\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-278783\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/GettyImages-1234715849.jpg\" alt width=\"891\" height=\"594\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2021\/08\/GettyImages-1234715849.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2021\/08\/GettyImages-1234715849-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 891px) 100vw, 891px\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-278783\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI\/AFP\/Contributor via Getty Images<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>Poll Demographics<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>The poll was a representative sample of U.S. adults, which included more Democrats than Republicans. 44% of those surveyed said they voted for Biden, compared to just 34% who supported Trump.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>On<\/b> <b>The Issues<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Foreign Policy: 32% approve of the job Biden is doing while 55% disapprove.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Immigration: 32% approve of Biden\u2019s performance while over half of Americans disapprove.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Overall: Americans are twice as likely to say they \u201cstrongly disapprove\u201d of his job as president than they are to say they \u201cstrongly approve\u201d of it.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>On The Afghanistan Withdrawal&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Since April, there has been a nearly 30-point decline in Americans\u2019 support of a military withdrawal from Afghanistan. Support for leaving was at 73% at the time, but now, only 45% said the U.S. should continue its troop withdrawal.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Americans cited concern over what would happen to the Afghan people \u2014 particularly women and those who worked with the United States during the war \u2014 as their main reason for opposing a withdrawal. The first Americans to get the boosters will be nursing home residents and healthcare workers.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>First, however, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) needs to approve the boosters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Data On Boosters<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>On Monday, Pfizer and BioNTech submitted initial data to the Food and Drug Administration which they say supports giving another dose of the vaccine. According to officials, those who received the Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine may need another dose, too, but they\u2019re waiting on results from a trial to make that recommendation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Pfizer and BioNTech<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.com\/news\/press-release\/press-release-detail\/pfizer-and-biontech-announce-submission-initial-data-us-fda\"><span>say<\/span><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/cts.businesswire.com\/ct\/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fs21.q4cdn.com%2F317678438%2Ffiles%2Fdoc_financials%2F2021%2Fq2%2FQ2-2021-Earnings-Charts-FINAL.pdf&amp;esheet=52477298&amp;newsitemid=20210816005494&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=Results&amp;index=1&amp;md5=f98afc92298804cd9ab7a559f5d47f45\"><span>results<\/span><\/a><span> from their trial show the third dose resulted in \u201csignificantly higher neutralizing antibodies\u201d against the initial strain of the virus compared to the levels after the two-dose primary series. They also say it helped against the Beta variant and the Delta variant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Global Impact<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>The<\/span><span> World Health Organization recently<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/world-health-organization-calls-for-moratorium-on-booster-shots\"><span>called<\/span><\/a><span> on countries to hold off on boosters until the end of September, so initial doses can go to places with low vaccination rates.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On Wednesday, President Biden <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=22-bI7dBLEM\"><span>addressed<\/span><\/a><span> the global implications of boosters, saying \u201cthere are some world leaders who say America shouldn\u2019t get a third shot until other countries got their first shot. I disagree. We can take care of America and help the world at the same time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In Israel, they\u2019ve already started giving people third doses. The Morning Wire spoke to Sky News Foreign Affairs Editor Deborah Haynes, who discussed global implications for the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Russia<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>In Haynes\u2019s opinion, Russia has had a strategic advantage due to the fact that western powers like the United States and the United Kingdom have been drawn into Afghanistan and expended many of their resources in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Pakistan&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>Haynes told Morning Wire that there are suspicions about which side Pakistan is supporting.
