In July, he said he would not return to the set of his upcoming Starz series, \u201cGaslit,\u201d which co-stars Julia Roberts, unless all the cast and crew had received the jab.<\/p>\n<p>Calls for vaccine mandates are growing across the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<p>Actress Sharon Stone, who is currently running to be president of SAG-Aftra, said in a campaign video covered in <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/07\/sharon-stone-sag-aftra-health-coverage-vaccinated-set-1234802853\/\">Variety<\/a> that she won\u2019t work on a set where everyone isn\u2019t vaccinated. She then made vaccines a key part of her platform.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been offered a job \u2014 a good job, a job I really want to do in Atlanta,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s why my hair is standing on end \u2026 because the Producers Guild of America will not guarantee that everyone on our show is vaccinated before I go to work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The outlet further quoted Stone\u2019s video:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"15.706084959816\">\n<p><em>\u201cWill I go to work before everyone on my show is vaccinated? No. No, I won\u2019t,\u201d she added. \u201cAm I being threatened that I will lose my job? Yes. Yes I am. Will I lose my job if everyone is not vaccinated on my show? Yes. Yes I could. Will I stand up for all of us so that every set that we go on is vaccinated? Yes. Yes, I will. Why? Because that\u2019s ridiculous \u2026 that we should have to go to work where we are not safe to work. I am standing up for all of us when I say that the Screen Actors Guild \u2014 that I will be working for with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/membership-first\/\" data-tag=\"membership-first\">Membership First<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014 will be safe for us to go to work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I\u2019m not going to work until all of our sets are vaccinated. And you shouldn\u2019t either. Why? Because I am running for us. Why? Because we are you. I\u2019m so sorry that this is our working conditions, but this is the Screen Actors Guild that we have today.
