But could the situation in Afghanistan could complicate that?<\/p>\n<p>I asked Newsom today. He brushed it off &amp; said he looks forward to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POTUS<\/a>\u2019 visit. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cyWauuSfj0\">pic.twitter.com\/cyWauuSfj0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Liz Kreutz (@ABCLiz) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ABCLiz\/status\/1427473486935519233?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 17, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly proud of President Biden,\u201d Newsom said, according to Fox News. \u201cI\u2019m incredibly enthusiastic to have his support on [a] \u2018no\u2019 vote and look forward to him coming out here.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/21\/kamala-harris-campaign-gavin-newsom-recall-effort\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Kamala Harris Promises To Campaign For Gavin Newsom Amid Recall Effort)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Biden has faced harsh <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/16\/donald-trump-statement-joe-biden-resignation-afghanistan-border-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">criticism<\/a> for pulling U.S. troops from <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/17\/chuck-todd-afghanistan-taliban-competency-joe-biden-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Afghanistan<\/a> as the Taliban advanced into Kabul on Sunday. The Taliban has since <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/15\/taliban-fighters-enter-kabul-afghan-president-ashraf-ghani-flees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">taken control<\/a> of the presidential palace in Kabul after the Afghan president fled from the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGov.
