It\u2019s \u201cconspiracy and fantasy,\u201d says Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe effort by the sitting President of the United States to overturn the results is patently undemocratic,\u201d the New York Democrat said. \u201cThe effort by others to amplify and burnish his ludicrous claims of fraud is equally revolting.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis is America. We have elections. We have results. We make arguments based on the fact and reason\u2014not conspiracy and fantasy,\u201d he added.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>There\u2019s only one problem with Chucky\u2019s \u201cargument based on fact and reason.\u201d Democrats have been challenging the electoral vote certification for 2 decades.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The last three times a Republican has been elected president \u2014 Trump in 2016 and George W. Bush in both 2000 and 2004 \u2014 Democrats in the House have brought objections to the electoral votes in states the GOP nominee won. In early 2005 specifically, Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., along with Rep.
