Speaking to a crowded church on Thursday, the Republican show host said he believes Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) locked down California harder than any other state in the union.<\/p>\n<p>The Bay Area church was chosen specifically because they have racked up $1 million in fines for defying COVID restrictions. Elder said all such restrictions on the people, businesses and churches in California would be lifted as his first act of governor.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">1) Do I believe there were shenanigans in the 2020 presidential election? Newsom has started up his own campaign to urge Californians to vote no on recalling him.
