Carano will star as the one woman who managed to escape him. Traumatized, but haunted by the thought of his future victims, she hires another trucker to help her track him down and end his killing spree.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Sonnier and Amanda Presmyk of Bonfire Legend will join Carano <span>in producing the film, along with horror author<\/span>&nbsp;Tony Timpone. According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/exclusive-poll-majority-of-americans-less-likely-to-support-disney-over-woke-politics-firing-of-gina-carano\"><span>a nationally representative poll<\/span><\/a><span> conducted earlier this year by SurveyMonkey and Public Opinion Strategies on behalf of The Daily Wire, 72 percent of Americans said they disagreed with Disney\u2019s decision to terminate the actress after seeing the social media post that resulted in her dismissal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Daily Wire is helping make one of my dreams \u2014 to develop and produce my own film \u2014 come true. I cried out and my prayer was answered,\u201d the former MMA fighter and fitness model told Hollywood trade publication <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2021\/02\/gina-carano-mandalorian-ben-shapiro-hits-back-cancel-culture-1234692971\/\">Deadline<\/a> in February. \u201cI am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob. I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can\u2019t cancel us if we don\u2019t let them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The project is the latest in a slate of film and TV productions The Daily Wire\u2019s new entertainment division is developing. &nbsp;Its first film, the action movie, \u201cRun, Hide, Fight,\u201d was released in January and scored with audiences, earning a 93% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p>Casting director David Guglielmo (The Pale Door) will begin casting Carano\u2019s project immediately and the film team is currently in negotiations with a director, aiming for an early 2022 release with the first trailer dropping in February.<\/p>\n<p>In the U.S., The Daily Wire will release the movie exclusively to its members, while also making the movie available worldwide.
