As The Hill <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/in-the-know\/in-the-know\/567177-alec-baldwin-responds-to-cuomo-resignation-this-is-a-tragic-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"14\">\n<p><em>It\u2019s not the first time that Baldwin has railed against cancel culture, saying in March that he thought it\u2019s \u201ccreating more problems than it solves.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s like trolling. It\u2019s like a giant, mile-long net and you\u2019re catching a lot of people, more than a few who deserve it, and more than a few who don\u2019t. He was someone who supported your campaign early on. I know you called him to resign. I know you condemned the alleged behavior.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBut you\u2019re someone who spends a lot of time with mayors and governors,\u201d the reporter continued. \u201cHow would you assess his 10 and a half years as governor of the state?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn terms of his personal behavior, or what he\u2019s done as a governor?\u201d Biden asked.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhat he\u2019s done as a governor,\u201d the reporter responded.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWell, he\u2019s done a hell of a job \u2026 a hell of a job,\u201d Biden responded. \u201cAnd I mean, both on everything from access to voting infrastructure to a whole range of things.
