According to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ag.ny.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2021.08.03_nyag_-_investigative_report.pdf\"><span>report<\/span><\/a><span>, Commisso has accused Cuomo of frequently hugging and kissing her \u2014 including once on the lips \u2014 grabbing her butt during a photo, and reaching under her blouse and grabbing her breasts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhat he did to me was a crime,\u201d Commisso told CBS News. \u201cHe broke the law.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/08\/06\/nyregion\/andrew-cuomo-criminal-complaint.html\"><span>The New York Times<\/span><\/a><span>, the then-unnamed executive assistant filed a criminal complaint with the Albany County sheriff\u2019s office on Friday. CBS News reports that Commisso is the first accuser to file a criminal complaint against Cuomo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Cuomo has denied that he kissed her on the lips or grabbed her breasts. Although Cuomo says he regularly hugged her, he has also suggested that she was the one who was constantly initiating, and described himself as \u201cmore in the reciprocal business.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Rita Glavin, an attorney for the governor, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/cuomo-investigation-sexual-harassment-attorney-refute\/\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span> Friday that there is evidence that was omitted from the state attorney general\u2019s report that undermines the account from the former executive assistant. <\/span><span>\u201cThis woman\u2019s story as stated in the report is false,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Commisso also said Cuomo had made inappropriate comments to her, including once when she showed up in a dress and he allegedly remarked, \u201cit\u2019s about time you showed some leg.\u201d The governor has said he didn\u2019t make that comment and would \u201cnever say\u201d such a thing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The state attorney general\u2019s report details allegations from another accuser, a state trooper who has not come out publicly, that sound similar to Commisso\u2019s allegations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to the report, the trooper was driving Cuomo to an event when he asked her why she wasn\u2019t wearing a dress. She responded that she wouldn\u2019t have anywhere to put her gun. After Cuomo asked another question about her attire, a detail commander in the car interjected, saying that all detail members were required to wear business attire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The detail commander later allegedly told her not to tell anyone about what had happened in the car, although by the time she was told that, she had already told someone in another detail car, \u201c[O]h my god, can you believe the Governor asked me why I don\u2019t wear a dress?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The state trooper has said that, a month later, Cuomo ran his hand across her stomach while she was holding a door open for him \u2014 a move that she says left her feeling \u201ccompletely violated.\u201d The incident happened only a month after the New York governor signed a law strengthening protections for sexual harassment in the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Investigators say they corroborated the incident with a senior member of Cuomo\u2019s security detail, and that that person had even asked at the time whether she wanted to report it.
