The group known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/electioninnovation.org\/\">Center for Election Innovation and Research<\/a>, received $69.5 million from Mark Zuckerberg in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, $12 million of that money went to the nonprofit known as the Michigan Center for Election Law and Administration. The Michigan nonprofit then funneled $11 million to two Democrat aligned companies, Waterfront Strategies and Alper Strategies.<\/p>\n<p>CEIR noted the money provided was used specifically for messaging about election information, which targeted Michigan voters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to a statewide messaging campaign, Michigan sent out targeted mailings to engage voters.
