Kevin Brady (R-TX), the ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, told The Daily Wire that policymakers \u2014 and average American citizens \u2014 ought to therefore keep their eyes on three particular findings in the upcoming report.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>First \u2014<\/span><i><span> \u201cIs Biden closing his own jobs deficit?\u201d<\/span><\/i><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Brady noted that the commander-in-chief would need \u201c1.36 million jobs to close that gap.\u201d He predicted that Biden \u201cwill fall far short,\u201d but affirmed that Republicans \u201cwill continue to track the gap between what he promised and what he\u2019s delivering with the COVID jobs money.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Second \u2014 <\/span><i><span>\u201cAre workers coming back?\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span>Brady said job market distortions are behind rampant inflation and widespread supply chain issues: \u201cThe labor force participation rate, that key indicator \u2014 it\u2019s just stuck at a very low rate. It hasn\u2019t budged in six months under President Biden. Without those workers returning, we\u2019re gonna continue to see those higher prices and those slower deliveries in a major way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Third \u2014 <\/span><i><span>\u201cAre families going to continue falling farther behind with their buying power?\u201d<\/span><\/i><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Since the beginning of 2021, inflation has outpaced wage growth for the typical American family, leading to a progressive erosion in buying power.
