(Joe Raedle\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Almost half of the survey\u2019s respondents said they thought Trump would ultimately run in 2024, while 39% said he would not.<\/p>\n<p>While 19% said they would be more likely to vote for a Trump-endorsed candidate, 41% said the opposite and 37% said it would not make a difference. Fifty-four percent of Republicans, however, said that they were more likely to support a Trump-endorsed candidate, while only 6% said the opposite.<\/p>\n<p>Multiple recent <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/16\/trump-overwhelming-gop-favorite-2024-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">polls<\/a> have shown Trump either at or near the top of the field of possible Republican 2024 contenders. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has also consistently polled above other possible candidates, sometimes <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/20\/ron-desantis-leads-2024-straw-poll-donald-trump-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">beating Trump himself<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Quinnipiac polled 1,290 American adults between July 27 and Aug. 2, and its survey has a margin of error of 2.7 points.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
