Andrew Cuomo Tuesday to resign after an investigation found him guilty of sexual harassment. That same investigation found that TIME\u2019S UP co-founders Roberta Kaplan and Tina Tchen helped Cuomo\u2019s team craft an op-ed discrediting accuser Lindsey Boylan.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Free Beacon <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/times-up-founder-helped-cuomo-team-smear-governors-accuser\/\">first reported the TIME\u2019S UP founders\u2019 involvement<\/a> with the op-ed, which Cuomo officials quarreled about internally before ultimately deciding not to publish. The op-ed \u201cdenied the legitimacy of Ms. Boylan\u2019s allegations, impugned her credibility, and attacked her claims as politically motivated,\u201d according to the New York attorney general\u2019s report. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/08\/03\/cuomo-adviser-richard-azzopardi-lindsey-boylan\/\">(RELATED: Hours After #METOO Allegations Surfaced, Top Cuomo Adviser Released Oppo File On Accuser Lindsey Boylan To Media)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TIME\u2019S UP, a prominent non profit established at the height of the #MeToo movement and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/timesupnow.org\/about\/our-story\/&amp;sa=D&amp;source=hangouts&amp;ust=1590194091747000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHRk8rYr890yXhA6N-hv5UtcW8obg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">parent<\/a> organization of the TIME\u2019S UP Legal Defense Fund, did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Boylan originally accused Cuomo of sexual harassment in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/12\/13\/andrew-cuomo-sexual-harassment-lindsey-boylan\/\">an early December tweet thread<\/a>. (THOMAS WATKINS\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Cuomo asked top aide Melissa DeRosa to send a draft of the letter to Kaplan, who is an attorney at the firm Kaplan Hecker &amp; Fink LLP, the report said. Kaplan also represents E.
