After a brief exchange of blows, one of the men can be seen yelling in excitement, while the other places his hands on his knees before falling backwards onto the ground. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/flag-of-Pakistan\">Pakistani flag<\/a> has been digitally inserted into the video above the yelling man, and an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/topic\/flag-of-Israel\">Israeli flag<\/a> has been added over the man who collapsed.<\/p>\n<p>Some Facebook users have shared the video clip with inaccurate captions alleging it shows a Pakistani athlete beating an Israeli athlete at karate during the Tokyo Olympics on July 25. One iteration has garnered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/khaki.shaheen.9\/videos\/4131493710277898\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">over 303,000 views<\/a> as of press time. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/07\/31\/fact-check-us-women-soccer-team-kneeling-tokyo-olympics\/\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show The US Women\u2019s Soccer Team Kneeling During The National Anthem At The Tokyo Olympics?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While karate is making its debut as an <a href=\"https:\/\/olympics.com\/tokyo-2020\/en\/sports\/karate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Olympic sport<\/a> during the Tokyo Games, the competition is set to take place from Aug. 5 to Aug. 7, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/olympics.com\/tokyo-2020\/olympic-games\/en\/results\/karate\/olympic-schedule-and-results.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tokyo Olympics website<\/a>. Neither <a href=\"https:\/\/olympics.com\/tokyo-2020\/olympic-games\/en\/results\/all-sports\/noc-schedule-pakistan.htm\">Pakistan<\/a> nor <a href=\"https:\/\/olympics.com\/tokyo-2020\/olympic-games\/en\/results\/all-sports\/noc-schedule-israel.htm\">Israel<\/a> competed in a karate match on July 25, the official Olympic schedules for the respective countries show.<\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact found a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=T--iPFjrgDA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">higher quality version of the footage<\/a> that was live streamed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkf.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Karate Federation<\/a> on YouTube May 21. The title of the video indicates the match took place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wkf.net\/continental-championships-main\/190\">European Karate Championships<\/a> in Pore\u010d, Croatia.
