The application stated that Pitt would be the best \u201cdistribution hub\u201d for fetal tissue due to their \u201cover 18 years of experience\u201d in collecting body parts from aborted babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Indeed, GUDMAP\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gudmap.org\/projects\/gudmap3\/tissue-repo\/\"><span>Tissue Hub<\/span><\/a><span> website explains that researchers \u201ccan isolate human genitourinary tissues\u201d \u2014 such as kidneys, ureters, and bladders \u2014 from babies ranging between six and twenty-four weeks\u2019 gestation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Pitt says that \u201cischemia time\u201d \u2014 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.gov\/publications\/dictionaries\/cancer-terms\/def\/warm-ischemia-time\"><span>referring<\/span><\/a><span> to the time a tissue, organ, or body part remains at body temperature after its blood supply has been reduced or cut off but before it is cooled or reconnected to a blood supply \u2014 is \u201cminimized.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe record the warm ischemic time on our samples and take steps to keep it at a minimum to ensure the highest quality biological specimens,\u201d explains the application, which also describes \u201clabor induction\u201d as a \u201cprocedure that will be used to obtain the tissue.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Center for Medical Progress notes that \u201cif the fetus\u2019 heartbeat and blood circulation continue in a labor induction abortion for harvesting organs, it means the fetus is being delivered while still alive and the cause of death is the removal of the organs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Elsewhere in the application, Pitt revealed its intention to use \u201cinclusion (or exclusion) of individuals on the basis of sex\/gender, race, and ethnicity\u201d in procuring preborn babies. The university would harvest 50% of aborted babies from white mothers and 50% from minority mothers \u2014 with 25% of the babies specifically coming from black mothers. The Center for Medical Progress observes that Allegheny County \u2014 the \u201cmajor metropolitan area from which Pitt-based abortion practices draw patients\u201d \u2014 is 80% white and only 13% black.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cInfants in the womb\u2026 are being aborted alive and killed for organ harvesting, in order to bring in millions of dollars in taxpayer funding for Pitt and the Planned Parenthood abortion business it supports,\u201d explained Center for Medical Progress founder David Daleiden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The University of Pittsburgh \u2014 home to a prominent medical research ecosystem \u2014 frequently engages in federally-funded research projects involving aborted babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/campusreform.org\/article?id=16610\"><span>Campus Reform<\/span><\/a><span> reported in January:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"20\">\n<p><i><span>University of Pittsburgh researchers obtained the bodies of aborted babies from a local hospital, grafting the babies\u2019 scalps to rodents for an immunology experiment.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>The study attempted to cause \u201csuccessful co-engraftment of human skin, autologous lymphoid tissues, and autologous immune cells\u201d with mice and rats in the interest of providing \u201ca means of studying the human immune response to infection in the human skin.\u201d Researchers took \u201cfull-thickness human fetal skin\u201d and engrafted it over the rodents\u2019 rib cages, where the skin had been previously removed.&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span>Researchers obtained the scalp tissue from \u201cmedically or elective indicated termination of pregnancy\u201d at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), with the University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Tissue Bank.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>The National Institutes of Health \u2014 in addition to the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and other federal agencies \u2014 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/faucis-niaid-funded-uc-san-francisco-study-involving-aborted-babies-spleens-lymph-nodes\"><span>deploy<\/span><\/a><span> hundreds of millions of dollars to support research projects involving the body parts of aborted babies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span>The Daily Wire is one of America\u2019s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
