August Pfluger (R) touched on several pressing issues in this week\u2019s Republican Address, which primarily brought more attention to the ongoing crisis at the southern border. Pfluger, who has represented a district exposed to the full effects of the Biden border crisis, told the story of what he has seen and heard in his own community each day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve spoken with many Border Patrol officers who tell me the tragic stories of human trafficking that are occurring every day,\u201d he explained. \u201cI\u2019ve also heard from our local law agents who are overwhelmed, being pulled from their important posts, down to the border.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Every American can feel the hurt at the gas pump and grocery store\u2026Yet, the Biden Admin keeps rolling out trillion-dollar packages\u2014as if the pockets of taxpayers are an endless piggybank for Democrats\u2026&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepPfluger?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepPfluger<\/a> nails it in this week&#8217;s Republican Address. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RRaPEt5M3I\">pic.twitter.com\/RRaPEt5M3I<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kevin McCarthy (@GOPLeader) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOPLeader\/status\/1421862787886632963?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 1, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He added parents have become increasingly worried about their children\u2019s safety and most attributed their discomfort to Joe Biden\u2019s refusal to address the issue.
