Chicago Police Department released statistics on Sunday, which showed the stark increase in violent crime in the city just over the last two years.<\/p>\n<p>This report included attacks over the weekend in which at least 50 people were shot and at least five people were killed. Families of lost loved ones have been seeking answers by recently gathering outside a courthouse to voice frustration with judges, who they said have repeatedly put dangerous criminals back on the streets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must stop pointing fingers. Come with solutions to the problems,\u201d expressed Milagros Burgos, mother of a gun violence victim. \u201cMake our city safe. We need better. Children need better. This society needs better.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Superintendent David O.
