During an interview on Saturday, Surabian said Joe Biden and the Democrats refused to give up the powers they obtained through COVID lockdowns.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say, \u201cit\u2019s almost been a year and a half of these crazy COVID authoritarian restrictions.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Reminder: In October 2020, Joe Biden promised Americans that he would &#8220;Shut down the virus, not the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward 10 months &amp; he&#8217;s now instituting new mandates &amp; considering more lockdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Dems just can&#8217;t quit the power that comes with authoritarian covid fear porn. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/sAKLPtrRcx\">pic.twitter.com\/sAKLPtrRcx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Andrew Surabian (@Surabees) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Surabees\/status\/1421482549059145734?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 31, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Surabian added new COVID policies had nothing to do with public health and were purely political.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you can\u2019t fight COVID authoritarianism with everything that you have, then we can\u2019t trust you to fight for anything else,\u201d he asserted. \u201cThese governors, these Democrats, want to keep our kids masked up in school.
