According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/exclusive-top-republicans-torch-ftc-ill-advised-power-grab-jordan-rodgers-comer\">Washington Examiner<\/a> on Wednesday, Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), James Comer (R-Ky.) and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) sent a letter to the FTC commissioners regarding their recent actions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cathymcmorris?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@cathymcmorris<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Jim_Jordan?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Jim_Jordan<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepJamesComer?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepJamesComer<\/a> called out the Biden administration for their partisan power grab \u2013 empowering the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FTC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@FTC<\/a> to pursue their radical progressive agenda while abandoning transparency. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vQwJKjHaQY\">pic.twitter.com\/vQwJKjHaQY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Energy &amp; Commerce GOP (@HouseCommerce) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HouseCommerce\/status\/1420822165398638596?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 29, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Reports said that during the first meeting under new FTC Chairwoman Lina Khan, Democrat commissioners voted to expand the limits and powers of the agency.
