During an interview on Thursday, State Rep. Daniel Perez (R) said it should be left up to parents to make health decisions for their children.<\/p>\n<p>The day prior, the school board of Broward County implemented a policy which requires students and faculty to wear face coverings this fall. Concerned parents gathered outside the meeting, saying masks make it difficult for their children to breathe, learn and socialize.<\/p>\n<p>Perez suggested a special session in Congress could block the county\u2019s forced mask mandate.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Forcing kids to wear masks is bad policy. Parents are best equipped to decide whether they want their kids to wear a mask in school.
