Members of the caucus gathered for a press conference Thursday to announce their effort to take the two lawmakers out of the House GOP conference.<\/p>\n<p>Congressman Bob Good (R-Va.) defended the removal by asserting they can no longer be trusted in private Republican meetings because they are not real Republicans. He said some have dubbed the two lawmakers as \u201cPelosi Republicans.\u201d The congressman added, the GOP cannot work with elected officials who criticize their own party more than they do the Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) echoed Good\u2019s sentiments while emphasizing Republicans who have that close of a relationship with Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Pelosi should not be allowed to listen in on meetings meant for Republican ears only.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Even the incompetent attending physician could diagnose Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger with Trump Derangement Syndrome.<\/p>\n<p>They work for Pelosi, not the American people, and Kevin McCarthy must expel them from the Republican conference. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/a57vTWne6v\">pic.twitter.com\/a57vTWne6v<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rep.
