The rating is a 9% drop from just last year when 58% of Americans approved of the court. Meanwhile, 44% disapprove of the job the court is doing while 7% gave no opinion, according to Gallup.<\/p>\n<p>The poll was conducted between July 6-21 among 1,007 adults and has a +\/- 4% margin of error. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/15\/stephen-breyer-supreme-court-donald-trump-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer Weighs In On His Potential Retirement)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7246716\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"33\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7246716\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7246716\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/shutterstock_564060991-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"Supreme Court, Washington D.C.. [Shutterstock\/stock_photo_world]\n<\/div>\n<p>Both Democrats and Republicans gave the Supreme Court a 51% approval rating, which Gallup\u2019s senior editor Jeffrey M. Jones attributed to the fact that the high court has \u201chanded down rulings that have alternatively pleased and frustrated both sides of the ideological spectrum.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe mix of rulings may have helped keep Republicans from viewing the court as a conservative ally, or Democrats from perceiving it as too ideologically extreme,\u201d Jones wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The court has issued a series of rulings recently, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/23\/supreme-court-free-speech-mahanoy-area-high-school-brandi-levy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ruling in favor<\/a> of a teen, who cursed online and was suspended from her cheerleading team, and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/28\/supreme-court-transgender-bathroom-aclu-decision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tossing out<\/a> an appeal to overturn a lower court\u2019s decision allowing a transgender student to use the bathroom that corresponds to their gender identity.<\/p>\n<p>In a win for Republicans, the court also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/01\/supreme-court-arizona-voting-law-ballot-harvesting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">upheld<\/a> Arizona\u2019s ban on ballot harvesting. While Republicans applauded the ruling, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/01\/joe-biden-condemns-supreme-court-arizona-voting-law-decision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">President Joe Biden<\/a> condemned the decision and claimed the ruling did \u201csevere damage\u201d to the Voting Rights Act.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Approval ratings for the Supreme Court fell to the lowest point in four years, according to a new survey released Wednesday by Gallup.
