Nguyen in a statement. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/17\/supreme-court-abortion-case-mississippi-roe-wade-dobbs-jackson-womens-health\/\">(RELATED: Supreme Court Takes Up Major Abortion Case Directly Challenging Roe v. Wade)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nguyen said that no European nation allows elective abortions through all nine months of pregnancy \u201c<span data-contrast=\"auto\">as is effectively permitted in several U.S. states,\u201d noting that the U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/lozierinstitute.org\/internationalabortionnorms\/\">&nbsp;is among<\/a> only a small handful of nations, including&nbsp; China and North Korea, that allow late-term abortions. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>CLI sampled a group of 50 European countries, independent states, and semi-autonomous regions with populations over one million, comparing the gestational limits for abortion to Mississippi\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/billstatus.ls.state.ms.us\/documents\/2018\/pdf\/HB\/1500-1599\/HB1510SG.pdf\">Gestational Age Act<\/a>.
